This Halloween, we invite you to attend the second annual NIGHTMARE EMPORIUM -- a Seattle-based film festival of independently produced horror shorts.
Every Halloween season, 'The Shopkeeper' amuses himself by satisfying your thirst for the macabre -- presenting a glimpse into the bizarre and terrifying history of a few of the items in his mysterious curiosity shop: 'The Nightmare Emporium'. Each year, daring filmmakers choose an artifact from among the many oddities that haunt the store's shelves, and recount its terrifying history in a short film.
In our second year, participating filmmakers have nearly TRIPLED in number, necessitating the creation of three separate anthology films.
We have scheduled TWO screenings per anthology, playing on THREE consecutive nights. Each anthology will showcase the work of a different set of filmmakers, and their own unique take on the artifact they've chosen.
ANTHOLOGY 1 screens exclusively at:
Central Cinema - 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM
ANTHOLOGY 2 screens at TWO venues:
Northwest Film Forum - 7:00 PM
Central Cinema - 9:30 PM
ANTHOLOGY 3 screens exclusively at:
Northwest Film Forum - 7:00 PM; 9:30 PM
